Absolutely. I hope to get a gold star for my writing today, but I must admit to being a rather slow writer. I do a lot of research and much thinking. I just need something to hold me to my goals. Right now, I want to release in the fall, but it might be early winter. It's a series, and the last one was released two years ago this August.
@LynnLamb You can track research/brainstorming, editing, outlining etc. When you setup a project in OWL, you can set a due date and word count goal and then when you setup goals, it'll tell you what your monthly target needs to be to get to that target by your due date.
