@LynnLamb I bought Scrivener at one point because it looked like everyone was using it. That was a colossal waste of time for me personally. It just doesn't jive with the way my mind works. I'm a simple girl I guess, so Word is the way to go for me!

Is Emacs for Macs? I haven't heard of it.
@LynnLamb @vanessaravel Emacs mainly runs on Linux. It's a glorified text editor. I have a long and probably tedious list of reasons why I write in text files. ๐
@vanessaravel I think that's why I like Word too. It's easy. I have my settings for Createspace and they work just fine for Kindle, too.
@vanessaravel @LynnLamb I've encountered the same thing. Scrivner was not for me but many in my writing group love it.
Word also isn't for me either. I write in Atom with a backup of Notepad++ or Emacs.
I happen to have a pretty good set of tools to turn that into something pretty.
